After you've created vouchers or gift cards, you'll need to take a few steps to make sure those items are available for sale and redeemable.

Add voucher ticket types to price cards

Before customers can redeem vouchers, you must add them to price cards. 

Note: If you're using the Vouchers and Gift Cards module, Veezi automatically creates a voucher ticket type for you when you create Voucher Type records. If you're not using the Vouchers and Gift Cards module, you need to create a voucher ticket type before you complete this setup.

1. Log in to Veezi.
2. Go to Tickets > Price Cards.
3. Select or create a price card.
4. Click Show to see the Vouchers/Comps category of tickets.
5. Select the Include check box for the voucher ticket type you want to include in the price card.
6. Click Save changes.

Accept vouchers and gift cards at POS

Set up POS so your POS operators can quickly and easily work with vouchers and gift cards.

Note: When you customize the POS screen, you'll typically need to create items before you configure POS buttons. However, if you're using the Vouchers and Gift Cards module, Veezi automatically creates items for you when you create Voucher Type records for vouchers or for gift cards. If you're not using the Vouchers and Gift Cards module, Veezi automatically creates items for you when you create Ticket Type records and mark them as Redemption tickets that are sold as items.

Add vouchers or gift card buttons to POS

1. Log in to Veezi.
2. Go to Settings > Concession Profiles and select a profile.
3. Click an available button space and select a voucher or gift card item that Veezi created. For example, you might need to add:
   • Buttons for the each of the vouchers and gift cards that you created.
   • Buttons for any voucher recharge options that you created.
   • A button for recharging gift cards.

Note: After you've created vouchers, POS operators can go to More > Voucher Inquiry to check voucher balances. The Voucher Inquiry option appears automatically.

Set up POS to use a card reader

If you'll scan physical cards or swipe them through a card reader at POS, you'll need to update your POS workstation settings with the POS Configuration Wizard.

1. Open the Veezi POS Configuration Wizard. You downloaded this wizard when you first set up POS.
2. Click Edit to update your workstation settings.
3. Click Next to move through the wizard.
4. On the Integrated Payment screen, select your payment processor.
   

   Note: If necessary, select the Override existing workstation settings check box to make the payment processor selection list active.

5. On the Stripe Reader Settings screen, select the I have a card reader attached to my POS option.
6. Move through the rest of the wizard and click Save.

Accept gift cards in V-Tix (optional)

If you're using V-Tix, you can allow customers to use gift cards as a payment option.

1. Log in to Veezi.
2. Go to Additional Modules > V-Tix.
3. Set Enable Gift Card Redemption to YES.
   

   Note: You must first turn on the shopping cart to enable gift card redemption.

4. Click Save. V-Tix will begin accepting gift cards as payment approximately 30 minutes after you complete this configuration.
