The Settings menu is where you'll maintain details about your cinema, your point-of-sale system, your users, and more. You likely won't need to access these settings every day, and you'll have configured most of them in your initial setup. However, you'll come back to these settings as details of your operation change.
Tip: When a settings page displays information in a table, click any column header to re-sort the data.

General

General Settings: Set default values for shows, concessions, and seating. You can override these settings for particular shows or individual concession items, but having the default values reflect what you use most can save you time and simplify your configuration later on.
Note: The General Settings page is visible only to the System Admin user.
- Customize Dashboard: Choose the information that's most important to you so can see it right away every time you log in. Learn more about Veezi's home screen and your options for showing, hiding, or customizing the gadgets on your dashboard.

Your Account: Your details, including payment and contact information and invoices.
Note: The Your Account page is visible only to the System Admin user.
- GLAccounts: Details of all the general ledger accounts Veezi supports. You can't edit this list, but you can click the name of each account to update the Account Code and organize the accounts into groups that make sense for you.
- Sales Tax: Details of the taxes that apply to box office sales, concession sales, and tax exempt transactions. You can configure up to four individual rates to determine each tax level. For example, a 15% sales tax might be the result of a 10% federal tax and a 5% state tax. Click the name of each tax to set the rate.
- Distributors: All the distributors whose films you show. Distributors are added to this list whenever you import film information. You can also click Add distributor to import a particular distributor from the Veezi database or to create your own distributor record.
- People: All the actors, directors, and producers associated with the films you show. People are added to this list whenever you import film information. You can also click Add person to create your own person record.
Your Cinema
- Sites & Screens: Identification details for each of your sites, and screen and seating details for each of your theaters. Learn more about setting up sites and setting up screens.
- Media: The images you use throughout your Veezi system, such as film rating images or icons, concession photos or icons, advertising, or display background images.
- Attributes: Characteristics of screens, sessions, or films that help you make appropriate programming decisions, such as scheduling an IMAX film on an IMAX screen. Learn more about attributes.
- Censorship Ratings: The classification assigned to films based on content and anticipated audience suitability. This list was populated when your Veezi account was set up. Click each rating name to adjust the short name, inactivate or reactivate the rating, or add an image. You can also click Add censorship ratings to create your own rating record.
POS Settings
Veezi POS settings control behaviors that are consistent across your business, no matter how many sites or POS workstations you have. For example, POS settings reflect your refund policies, your receipt printing practices, and the payment types you can accept. Learn more about setting up POS.

Refunds & Voids: Define your refund and void policies, including details like whether refunded tickets are printed, when reasons and approval are required, and whether you'll charge a refund fee.

Point of Sale: Basic POS settings, like time format, receipt printing, and general transaction behavior.

Payment Types: Each payment type is associated with a method (such as cash, tab, or voucher) and a general ledger account. You can also choose the order in which payment types appear in POS and whether POS operators must enter an amount when receiving a payment of each type. This list was populated when your Veezi account was set up.
Tip: You can click Add payment type to create your own payment type record. You might do this if you have a reason to track a unique kind of payment, such as vouchers generated in a previous system.

Workstations: Details for each POS terminal, including the workstation's site, the last time a user logged off, and any user who is currently logged on. Click a workstation code to edit the details, including limiting access to the cash drawer and logging off a user who's POS session ended unexpectedly.
Note: When you run the POS Configuration Wizard, you'll specify workstation-specific setup details, such as what hardware is connected to the workstation, what payment processor handles the workstation's transactions, and what profile appears when a POS operator logs in.
- Concession Profiles: Profiles determine the look of POS screens. In each profile, you can choose and customize the available buttons, colors, icons, and screens available at each workstation. Learn more about setting up concession profiles.
- Customer Display Profiles: Profiles determine the look of customer-facing display screens. In each profile, you can customize the text, colors, and images customers see to confirm transaction details. Learn more about setting up display profiles.
- Set up your POS: Download the files you need to install POS and customer displays on your workstation. Access this settings page in a browser on your POS workstation and follow the instructions to install POS.
Users
Learn more about managing users.
- Email addresses: Enter names and email addresses so you can build distribution lists for reports and other communications. Learn more about distributing scheduled reports.
- Users: Create profiles for each of your staff members to allow them to log in to POS or to Veezi.
- Change password: Change the password you use to log in to Veezi.
- Your Profile: Turn on or off the Getting started section of the Veezi menu and the Live Chat feature.
- Feature Notifications: Review notifications that the Veezi support team has sent.
