All users sign in to Time and Attendance using their POS credentials. Managers also enter their Veezi credentials to start a work day.
Staff time clock
POS operators can clock on to start a shift, start and stop breaks, and clock off to end a shift. After the time clock has started, staff can enter comments that are visible to managers.
Examples: An employee might start a shift and leave a comment to remind a manager that they're clocking in early to help with a stocktake. An employee might review their shift summary when they clock out, notice that they missed recording a break period, and leave a comment to let a manager know about the issue.
Tip: Time and Attendance automatically signs POS users out after 20 seconds of inactivity, so you don't have to worry about people forgetting to sign out or logging time on the wrong account.
Manager time card review
Managers can also clock on, start and stop breaks, and clock off. In addition, managers can review and update employee time cards.
- Go to Time Card > Shift to see each time period, from clocked on to clocked off, that an individual employee has worked. Click a row to open the time card and review the details of each shift.
Tip: Set the date range and use the fields above the list to filter the shifts displayed.
- Go to Time Card > Time Card to review all the time worked by each employee within the date range you specify. Click a row to open and the time cards for the employee and review the details of each shift.
Open a time card to review and correct any details, review comments, and approve the time worked.
Use the check boxes at the right of the Shift overview and Time card overview to change the status of multiple rows with a single click.
Tip: You can't export data from Time and Attendance, but you can run the Staff Time Sheet report to review the details available in the Shift overview. Send this report to the person responsible for running payroll to confirm the time worked that has been approved and is ready to be paid.
