When you're ready to make online sales, your first step is to set up an account with a payment processor. Your next step is to enter your payment processor account details in Veezi. After you've done so, the payment connector you've configured is available throughout your system so that you can send payment to your processor in any module, such as V-Tix or the online gift shop.
Important! Veezi supports several (but not all!) online payment processors. Contact Veezi support if you're not sure your payment processor is supported by Veezi.
Note: When you use the same payment processor for both online and POS sales, POS operators can refund V-Tix transactions just as they would any other transaction. Setting up a payment connector for POS works a little differently from setting up a payment connector for online payments. To configure POS payment processing, run the POS configuration wizard.
Before you begin
Go to your payment processor's website or portal and sign in. You'll need some details from your payment processor account to complete the payment connector setup in Veezi.
Set up an online payment connector
Important! It can take up to 30 minutes for payments to process as expected after you complete the steps below. Follow the steps below at an off-peak time when you expect very few transactions will be initiated.
- Log in to Veezi.
- Go to Settings > Payment connectors.
- Click Create payment connector.
Tip: A list of the supported payment processors available in your region appears at the top of the page.
- Select the payment processor Veezi will connect to.
- Give this payment connector a unique name. The name you enter here appears in reports and throughout Veezi.
- Enter your payment processor account details. Contact your payment processor representative if you're not sure where to find this information.
- Select the modules and, if available, the individual sites that might need to use this payment connector.
Important! The toggles control whether a payment connector is available to each module and site. You must configure the feature and select an available payment connector before any payments are processed. For example, you could set up a PayPal payment connector and make it available to V-Tix at one of your sites, but you must set up V-Tix and select the payment connector you've made available before customers can buy tickets.
Note: You can't make a payment connector unavailable when it's currently in use. Update the configuration of any module using the connector, and then make the payment connector unavailable when it's no longer active.
- Click Save.
