Run the POS Configuration Wizard at each POS workstation when you're setting up the terminal for the first time or when you need to make changes to your POS configuration. For example, you'll run the wizard when you change or add payment processors or when you change or add hardware.
Before you begin
Before you run the POS Configuration Wizard, plan your POS setup and configure the POS settings in Veezi.

If this is your first time running the wizard at the POS workstation:

Configure a POS workstation
- Select the I would like to sell Tickets check box if you plan to sell tickets at this workstation. Then, if you selected the check box, choose which tab (Concessions or Tickets) appears first, as well as the Concessions tab profile POS operators will see when they log in. Click Next.
Note: For details on these choices, see the Plan your POS setup article.
- Select and test any of the printers or the cash drawer connected to the POS workstation.
Note: We recommend a workstation setup in which the cash drawer is connected to the receipt printer. If the cash drawer is connected directly to the POS terminal, contact Veezi support for assistance with your POS setup.
When the connected devices are working as expected, click Next.
Note: If you've previously run the wizard at this POS workstation, select the Override existing workstation settings check box to connect to devices.
- If you'll use a customer-facing screen at this workstation to show order details to customers, select the check box and a profile. Click Next.
- Leave the line display option set to No. Contact Veezi support if you plan to use a line display device. Click Next.
- Select the payment processor that handles payments collected at this workstation and click Next. If necessary, enter the details of your payment processor account. Then click Next again.
Note: If you've previously run the wizard at this POS workstation, select the Override existing workstation settings check box to change payment processors.
- Select and test any card reader connected to the POS workstation. When the connected device is working as expected, click Next.
Note: If you're using Vouchers and Gift Cards, you'll need to complete this step. If your POS operators currently type a transaction total into a pin pad card reader, contact Veezi support to discuss whether updating to integrated payments is the best option for your Voucher and Gift Cards setup.
- Select the check box and text any scanner connect to the POS workstation. When the connected device is working as expected, click Next.
- Review your settings, and then click Save.
