On 5 August 2025 at 4pm NZST (other time zones at the bottom), Veezi will release a POS update to allow our North American customers to use Windcave (formerly DPS) for payments. If you'd also like to be able to process matched refunds, complete the following steps on each of your POS devices.
Note: You can only perform these steps after the update is complete. We'll send you a notification to let you know when it's done.
Before you begin
Contact Windcave and ask for your REST (API) user credentials. If they are not already set up, Windcave will do this for you.
Steps
- Exit any running Veezi applications.
- On each POS device, open and run the Veezi POS Configuration Wizard, which you'll find in the Veezi folder on the desktop.
- On step 10 of the Wizard, select Override existing workstation settings and DPS.
- On step 11, enter your the API username and key you received from Windcave into the fields PXPay User ID and PXPay Key, respectively.
- Complete the Wizard.
- You can now reopen and run Veezi POS.

- Pacific Time (PT/PDT): Monday 4 Aug 2025 at 9:00 pm
- Eastern Time (ET/EDT): Tuesday 5 Aug 2025 at 12:00 midnight
