💡 Overview

We’ve reached out to you because your website is run on our platform, Veezi Web (formerly YourCinema).
To enhance site speed and security, and as part of our ongoing infrastructure improvements, we're retiring an old server and migrating to a new system.
As a result, you need to update your domain name DNS settings by May 20 to ensure uninterrupted service.

✅ What you need to do

You can complete this step at anytime (if you you want to ensure we’re on hand to help, if needed, please book a time with us here).

Make sure you have access to your domain-name settings.
- To complete this update, you need access to your domain-name registrar—the service with which your domain name is registered and paid for (for example, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or Squarespace).
- Make sure you have login credentials at hand for this service.
Change one domain name setting (DNS record).
- Sign in to your domain registration service (outlined in step 1).
- Navigate to your DNS Management page (the location and name of this page will vary by service but can generally be found in Domain Management or Advanced Settings).
- Update your root domain A record.
  - The root domain is the main part of your domain name, including the extension but without "www". For example, "anycinema.com".
  - Locate your domain’s A record with a value 13.54.113.93
  - Update that value from 13.54.113.93 to 13.236.169.208
- Save your settings.

Please let us know by reply email when this is completed. And that’s it. We will confirm the change has been successful. (Changes may take an hour or two to propagate.)

We strongly recommend using Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/). Cloudflare is a free service that enhances website security, performance, and reliability with its global network. It protects against DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attacks, speeds up content delivery through its CDN (content delivery network), and improves site load times with caching and optimization tools. It also allows flexible and fast DNS management. Around 20% of all websites use Cloudflare.
To get set up with Cloudflare, follow these instructions. Once you’ve done that, share access to Cloudflare with us, and we'll make the necessary changes on your behalf.
