When you start a stocktake, you must enter a time that is in the past but not prior to the end of the last stocktake. This requirement isn't intuitive, but it is necessary.
Veezi adjusts stock counts from the time of the most recent, finished stocktake, which is why stocktakes must always take place in the past. If you could create a stocktake ending in the future and then you were to sell an item, Veezi wouldn't know whether to subtract an item from the pre-stocktake or the post-stocktake total.
We recommend that you set a time in the very recent past (such as one minute ago) to begin a stocktake. When you're ready to finalize the stocktake, update the end time to one minute ago reflect an accurate time of the stock count.
