Before you begin

• Turn on Digital Signage
• Download the Digital Signage app

Adjust the Digital Signage app settings

When you open the Digital Signage app for the first time, you'll make a number of configuration choices, described below.

When you open the app after your initial setup, the rotation option appears and you can either change it or simply wait a moment and the app will load your sign with the current settings. Set up a new sign or adjust your settings by opening the app and pressing the Settings button, which appears for about 10 seconds as the app loads.

1. Click the rotate icon to set the app's orientation, and then click OK.
2. Log in using your Veezi account username and password.
3. Select a site to configure, and then click OK.
4. Enter a sign name. This name is not displayed on the sign so use any naming convention that will help you keep track of your signs and remember which is which.
5. Choose an orientation for your sign that fits the orientation of the display screen.
6. In the Select Sign Group field, select a sign type to determine how session times and movie posters are displayed. See examples of the available sign options below.
   • If you've selected any of the door sign options, enter the relevant screen number.
     

     Tip: Find a screen number by logging in to Veezi and going to Settings > Sites & Screens, selecting a site, and scrolling to the Screens section.

     Note: Door signs include the screen name, so be sure your screens have names that will make sense to your patrons.

7. Click Save. Your signage playlist loads automatically.

Tip: The Digital Signage app displays the time and time format of the device it runs on. To change the time and time format of your signs, change the time settings on your device. The location of time settings differs between devices, but it's often Advanced Settings > Date & Time.
