Before you begin
Before you can download and use the Digital Signage app, you need to turn on Digital Signage in Veezi.
Setting Up Digital Signage
- Log in to Veezi.
- Go to Additional Modules > Digital Signage and click Manage.
- Select the colors that you'd like to use in Digital Signage.
- Upload your logo.
Note: Images must be 100 pixels high and 600 pixels wide or smaller, and they must be one the following file types: GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG.
- Click Save changes.
If you have multiple sites using Digital Signage, repeat these steps for each one.
Note: Your Digital Signage settings can take a few hours to appear.
Downloading and installing the app
If you can access the Google Play store on your device, search for and download the Veezi Digital Signage app just as you would any other app.
If you can't access the Google Play store on your device:
- Go to my.veezi.com/signs on the device you'll use for Digital Signage. The download begins automatically.
- If you see a prompt when you visit the site, follow the instructions to change your device's security settings and allow the download.
- If you don't see a prompt and the download doesn't start, turn on the Allow installation of non-official apps setting. The location of this setting differs between devices, but it's often Settings > Security or Settings > Advanced Settings > Security. You might need to click Install again after turning on this setting.
Note: When the download is finished, you can turn this setting off again.
- Follow the prompt to open the file when the download is complete. The installation begins automatically.
- If you don't see a prompt, find and open the downloaded file on your device. The location of downloaded files differs between devices, but it's often Files > Apps > Installation Packages.
- If you see a prompt when you open the file, follow the instructions to change your device's security settings and allow the installation.
